ZILDJIAN ARTIST FAMILY
Following his father's example, Armand Zildjian developed close personal relationships with all the leading drummers and percussionists of the time in the 1950s, such as Gene Krupa, Buddy Rich, Max Roach, Shelly Manne, Elvin Jones and Tony Williams. Since that time Armand has been known as the "Father of Artist Relations".
Today, this tradition is followed by a worldwide family of artists who interact with each other. Talking to this unique community about current trends, their feedback and ideas for new products helps us every day to keep improving our products.
