Description
The move from Turkey to the USA
This limited edition Zildjian 400th Anniversary design pays tribute to the company’s move from Turkey to the United States in the early 1920s. Avedis III, the only surviving male in the direct line of succession, left Turkey due to increasing oppression of Armenian people, becoming an American citizen. This led to officially moving operations to Quincy, Massachusetts in 1929.
The Armenian heritage
To honor this pivotal moment in our history and pay homage to our Armenian heritage, we’ve created a design that is equally dark and beautiful, inspired by Turkish design elements often seen in tiles and rugs of the same era.
- Super soft tri-blend fabric (cotton/polyester/rayon)
- Woven Zildjian Limited Edition patch on bottom left side
- Large front graphic with Zildjian 400th Anniversary logo beneath back collar
